One way to add your Storyboard graphic

With your Design Document, you are to include a "graphic representation" of your Storyboard. One easy way to do this is to use the drawing function with your word processor.

To use the "Drawing Function" with Microsoft Word:

  • If the drawing tools are not visible at the bottom of the page -- go to "View" "Toolbars" "Drawing". You should now be able to see the Drawing Toolbar at the bottom of the page.

  • Use the various tools on this toolbar --- Autoshapes, the line, arrow, rectangle, oval tools, etc.
    Drawing Tools

  • A very easy tool is the text box --- click and drag the + to size the box, then just type in it

  • Don't get carried away! This is a simple representation.

  • Add arrows to indicate your navigation (one-way, or two-way to indicate a "return")
(notice that I have shown just a part of this drawing, including a note on naming the first page)

  • This drawing can be added anywhere in your Design Document as you type it up.

  • Remember to follow the Assignment instructions as to saving the Document as an rtf file.
